Senior Structure Designer (Bridge Design Engineer)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team at our Head Office in Peshawar.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out the structural analysis and design of bridges, flyovers, interchanges, underpasses, retaining structures, culverts, and other highway-related structures.
- Prepare detailed design calculations, design reports, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Conduct structural modeling, finite element analysis, and design optimization.
- Review and verify structural designs in accordance with international codes and standards (AASHTO LRFD, Eurocodes, BS Standards, etc.).
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including highway, geotechnical, hydraulic, and construction engineers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Participate in project planning, design reviews, client meetings, and technical presentations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred and highly desirable).
Registration with the relevant professional engineering body will be an advantage.
Experience
Minimum 6 years of proven structural design experience.
Demonstrated expertise in the design of:
- Highway Bridges
- Flyovers
- Underpasses
- Interchanges
- Retaining Structures
- Box Culverts and Other Highway Structures
- Experience on major national or international infrastructure projects will be highly preferred.
Technical Skills
Candidates must be proficient in the latest structural and bridge design software, including:
- CSI Bridge
- MIDAS Civil
- MIDAS Civil NX
- Bentley OpenBridge Designer
- Bentley RM Bridge
- SAP2000
- ETABS
- LUSAS Bridge
- SOFiSTiK
- Autodesk Civil 3D
- AutoCAD
- Revit Structure
- Pro
